A junkyard. Or you could get an electric fan and go that route.

How do you know it's your fan? Fans and fan clutches are pretty simple units and generally don't fail.

you should probably learn common words in the english language and that will help you out in life but,

Its pretty easy to see if the fan is dead just turn the car onto on mode open your hood and see if its spining

how easy does it overheat does it take a while of driving because if the fan is out its obviously not going to overheat really fast considering its a small piece of the cooling system If it does heat up very fast though you have some more serious problems than just 'da' fan being out

Definitely upgrade to "adult" English. Maybe some spelling and punctuation too. You'll get a lot more respect and help that way.

When is it overheating? If it's only under load and at speed it's not the fan. If it's only at low speed or when stopped, it's not the fan.

don't clutch fans fail in a way so they still work?

tandolla 06-12-06 01:46 AM

if you car has overheated more then once.. you migth want to make sure your motor is still good.? it might have cooked something.. just a suggestion

No, the clutch starts to lose it's grip, so the fan doesn't spin fast enough. It's usually a gradual failure though, unlike an electric fan which just doesn't go one day...

First, read this:

http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/cooling.htm

Is it really the fan?
