i got no REVERSE, HELP!!!
 

I posted this question b4, i got no reverse. The car that i got this tranny from the reverse worked. Now in my car its not werking. I used the rear tranny cover from a s4 tranny in a s5 gearbox. My car was auto and the crossmember made wont fit the s5 since it uses diff crossmember.

What can cuase my car not to go in reverse. All other gears 1-5 ride smooth as hell. I feel it going into Reverse but just at the tip , right between neutral and reverse, its like stuck.

P.S i miss my baby, i have yet to install my falken ziex, kyb agx, eibach springs, rb catback is in the near future, i need to fix the reverse..or should i just buy another tranny?

in all seriousness... does it feel like the shifter is hitting something?

people keep telling me i dont need reverse. Thats tech true in certain rural areas but in NYC, you neeed reverse like you do first. we do a lot of parallel parking.

It feels like it doesnt want to go into gear like if something is blocking it from entering the reverse gear.
