I got my 'blown' car running!!! =)

Well some of you know that I bought a '90 GXL thats was said to be over heated and blown. Well after I towed it behind a truck in 2nd gear for a while, did the atf trick, changed the oil, put water in the radiator, and chaged the spark plugs... she started up :D Man Iam so happy right now. Car seems to be making normal power too, compared to my gf's witch is slightly modded.

Just thought I would let you guys know
Thx for all that helped me out!!!

yeah kinda much for a 'blown car' @ $1250 but for a good running car its one hell of a deal (body is very nice too, but I do need to replace a few interior pieces and get rid of my back seats... anyone got some black bins in good condition?

i'd recommend selling your back seats on e-bay; there are lots of people looking for them (but include the rear floor mats, latches, seat belts, etc. -- all the fittings). you'll probably get at least $150 if the seat is nice.

for bins, check e-bay or send an e-mail to ernst borchert (sp?) -- look up mazda parts on e-bay and you'll find him. I've bought lots of stuff from him -- he's a straight shooter. You'll also need the fiberglass frames for the bins, wiring harness for the bin lights, different (longer) rear floor mat, a different trim piece for the floor behind the bins, etc. also, if you take out the old seat back latches and don't like the rectangular holes in the trim, you can replace those too. entire process is fairly easy.
