Hybrid turbo garret/hitachi build help?

3 Attachment(s)
I am wanting to piece together a spicy setup. I have a bone stock S5 TII car with 70k miles, two or three spare OE turbos and a already built Hybrid turbo from my S4 Tii swap.

Here's where I need some guidance.

The turbo off the s4 has chipped turbine fins and of course the inferior S4 wastegate but has a nice backing plate, compressor wheel and housing I want to use on my stock turbo. I know nothing about the Garret compressor and housing other than it it's a A/R70 M43, the onwer of the TII swap claimed he was pushing ~300hp with this setup and emissions delete.

Any input?

I see you have a s5 turbo, I would use that!

and ditcht he chipped turbine wheel, I have 2, one clipped and one non clipped, but I might sell the clipped one with my to4b housing setup

I have 2 S5 turbos and 2 S4 as well as the hybrid, would you care to explain the clipping of the turbo?

they machine off a little bit of the turbine fin. It doesn't spool as fast, but it can reach a higher top speed. They do it to balance out having the stock turbine with a bigger compressor.

It made a little diference, I have ran my hybrid with both before and I like it more with the clipped turbo. it spooled better with the stock turbine, but the top end torque fell off pretty bad.

I'm sure you can do a quick search and find some info on it. BNR does it, and so did the turbo shop I took my turbo to a long time ago
