(My favorite: Kuhmo 711 225/50-15 inflated to 27PSI.)

I think anything with either AWD, MR, or traction control wouldn't have much trouble, especially against a non-lsd car...

 

I usually don't race in the wet....seeing as how I had a little incident one time. I was just flooring it down the main street by my house from a stop, and once I shifted to 3rd gear, the rear end just broke loose and spun me around. I narrowly missed trees and a good sized rock. It was at that time, that I decided to ***** foot in the rain for the rest of my life. Ok, I don't ***** foot ALL the time in the rain cuz I like to pop the rear end out on slow turns sometimes, but I certainly won't race. Especially not with my worn to the wear bar tires.

 

Do those 225's fit all that well on a 6" wheel? It seems like it might be a little too much tire for the wheel.

Also, if you're running 225/50s and haven't recalibrated your speedo, it's a little off. A 225/55 would be just about perfect, but good luck finding that size.

 

Maybe he has 6.5" or TII 7" rims. I dunno 225s barely fit right on TII rims though.

I know a good way. Tell them you will race them if you both pull off half of your plugwires. Be sure you pull the TOP (trailing) wires!

Damn good idea! You can set the bet up like: "I bet we can both do the same thing on our cars and mine will kick the **** out of you." If they take the bet tell them to unplug any two plug wires they want on theirs and you will do the same.
Just remember if you make any money on the idea that you have Brad to thank for it!

 

um... NAs have better intial launch compared to even the TIIs.

When you launch, you aren't in boost... unless you are crazy and running an antilag or somehow doing a brake stand and slipping the clutch like mad.

The NA has more compression so intial throttle response is supoerior to the TII.
