How to test S5 OMP??
My engine is dead and the previous owner said it was due to a bad electric OMP. Well, I would like to test and fix it so my rebuild wont die from the same crap. I want to keep my car stock, so I want to keep the OMP, and not premix. Any ideas how to test the electric OMP system without the car running? Well, It kinda runs... On 1 rotor.

I suppose I could try that... I was just hoping there would be a cleaner way to test it.

Did you not read Stacher's post? It looks like that is copied out of the tech manual so it should be correct. From what I understand there's no way to hot wire these things. If you're that worried about it then run the OMP on your car, but run premix in your tank until you are certain that your OMP is working correctly.
