how to replace?
 

does anyone know how to replace this wire? since its burned out my turn signals dont work >.> any help would be great thanks

you'll probably have to get a new acv (air control valve i think)

as for the signals, check your fuses to make sure none of those went out. the turn signals might be unrelated to this.

New ACV time. I'll check my Pile 'O Parts on Monday, but I'm pretty sure I used my last spare when that same wire burned out on mine.

Did you plug in the S4's for now, or did you manage to find the S5's?

nah bruh didnt plug anything in yet picking some up tomorrow from some1 in oakland for $20 so should be good. yeah smoke was all commin outta my hood like WTF!!! FIRE!!!! then i saw that smoking i was like wtf. is it easy to replace chris? and can i drive with it like that or best not to do so for now?

It's only 3 nuts/bolts IIRC, the air hoses, and the two electrical connectors. I just disconnected it until I got my replacement...it's mainly used for emissions and I didn't want it burning up any more than it had been.

Try plugging in the S4's signals and see if they work.

Let me know when you get it, I've got a spare ACV gasket I'll keep in the storage bin.

That is the Split Air Solnenoid and has zip to do with the turn signal circuit. It screws out and can be replaced and if you do you NEED to fix the wiring there also. If the black/white wire on that two wire circuit gnds out it blows a EGI fuse which makes the car undriveable/unstartable.

The Split Air solenoid only functions when in fifth gear and driving the car (that's the way it works on a series four and most likely on a series five).

It's a mostly not needed part and I'd suggest unplugging that two wire harness at its other end.
