How much for a perfect 90 vert?

I might be, maybe, just MAYBE, selling my 1990 Convertible. Question is, how much? I bought it at 9k miles in 1995. It now has 24k It is in perfect shape with the exception of a chin spoiler scrape. I have over $700 in new parts incl drivers bottom seat, plastics, complete set of stickers for future use...etc.. no mods except for strut tower brace and a K&N drop in filter. Paint is 99.9% Interior is also 99.9% perfect. Mechanicals are verified by an east coast tuner as in excellent condition. Car was driven little, but driven hard when driven, hence the engine is in awesome shape. What is a fair price to ask? SERIOUSLY.

There is a dealer near me that wants $3800 for a very good condition 89 vert with only 76K on it...

so based on that and knowing that he could be talked down to $3000 I would figure yours to be worth $4000 or $4500 right now.

But mind you when the middle of summer comes and sports cars and 'verts are more in demand you could add another $1000 or $2000 to that.

You could get $6500 on ebay IF YOU LIST IT REALLY GOOD WITH LOTS OF PICS

I think I would ask at least 7k for it!!!

I checked the Kelly Blue Book on it and for that mileage and in the condition it sounds like it is in they list $6,990.

Convertible's in as good a shape as yours is are hard to come by. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody was willing to pay more than blue book if it was something they were really looking for. I'll bet there are very few verts in the entire country that are 12 years old with only 24,000 miles on them.

If you are not in a big hurry to get rid of it, I would advertise everywhere possible and wait on the right buyer.

Shit.....if I had an extra 7k laying around and a 4-car garage instead of 3 I'd buy it! 2 convertibles.....hummm...which one should I drive today????:D

Dude, I would accept no less than high retail for that car. I would think that's around $7k.

It may not sell quickly, but if it's as perfect as you say it is somebody will buy it.

I'd love to buy the sucker, but am in Canada the home of idiocy and having checked out the import regs find that your bumpers don't meet our idiot collision laws and would require approx. $3000C in retrofitting to import to Canada.

Just a follow up........even 7k is too little to give this car up. Thanks for the feedback. She stays in the garage and I enjoy her until I can't press a clutch anymore :-)
thanks again.
