How much does a n/a reman shortblock cost at Mazda USA? I'm planning to buy one because it's probably cheaper than in Canada...

i have an n/a short block for ya, you can even reman it your self, that way you know exactly where its been:icon_tup:

I don't have the space to do it ... I can replace the engine easily but I have not the right place to rebuild it. If I had it I would simply rebuild mine.

i would be up to do it, but i cant offer any form of warrenty or gaurentee, so i dont feel comfortable takeing money like that.

theres a few people on here who build some badass blocks, it think his name is IPB something, banzai racing dose some quaility work, they rebuilt one of my buddies fd.

banzai racing, rotary resurrection, atkins rotary, etc. Prices vary....

I know them but except for rotary resurrection they are all over my budget. A shortblock of Mazda Canada cost me 2000$ if I give them my old block. I think in the USA it will cost me less because everything is less expensive in the USA.

I wouldn't count on it being cheaper by much, if at all.

It will... trust me. If I decide to buy a brand new car in USA it will cost me at least 5000$ less than here.
