i was just wondering how reliable would a fully modded FC be.

I don't know how much power my car is making because I haven't dynoed it, but I use it every day. I'm sure it's making over 400 HP, but I can't say anything until I put it on a dyno. I'm just waiting for a dyno day so I don't have to pay $225.

I am considering making a Supercharged monster with a beautiful exterior so people will have something else to gawke at on the site, hehe.

Never had it fully tuned... Just slapped it together and ran around on the streets with it last summer... My current project should yield more power than a certain someone on here, cough cough soul assassin cough, ohh excuse me... ... No hard feelings out, but its war! And it is my only car so yes, i will be driving it everyday to and from where ever i go. I will start posting pics soon of my setup, still collecting parts, i will begin the building in a week or so.

Thanks a bunch,

Cool Mashin!

I put 294 to the wheels so im sure of 300+ to the flywheel. Problems.....well...the only problem I have is nobody wants to race when they pull up next to me. I guess its the black rims and front mount.

mine should be in the lower 400's once i finish getting the gremlins out of it...............if i keep it long enough. if someone offered me the money right now though id almost definately sell the car and move on (after owning 6 FCs its about time)

at any rate, the relevant mods are: FMIC, T60-1 BB, Haltech E6K 1600cc secondaries, full 3 inch, 3.75in GT Spec catback, etc etc etc etc etc

Reliability... don't let anyone fool you. You MUST have it tuned properly. If you are running too rick, you will drowned your engine and it will last half as long as it could have. If you run it too lean, it will detonate and blow...

Tuning it is VERY important. It requires, in my opinion, at LEAST a wideband oxygen sensor... and most likely some dyno time.

my 355 @ the wheels was kind of disappointing... but I know what the problems were.

First off, I had an 20 psi spring in the wastegate... Thats not what I ordered, but thats what it came with. I had to back off on the run because of overboosting.

Secondly, the Racing Beat turbo back system is too restrictive. I'm ditching it this winter and going with a custom 3" exhaust and dynomax muffler or something similar...

Also, the intake on my car was pretty restrictive. I was using a Greddy FMIC kit that has 16 bends BEFORE the throttle body. I've since sold that system. I am putting a 3rd gen intake on and going with a custom spearco setup similar to what Inital D has... I may also ditch the 60-1 and go wtih a T-66 :-D

it seems like a lota people are boostin around 20 psi to get into the 350-450 hp range. are you guys still running on 2mm apex seals? and do you run 20 psi everyday or turn it down while your going to work etc....
