you talking full t04 's ?? or to4 compressers on the stock turbos?

a full t04, with ported engine should be 350-400RWHP easy. easy into the 11's- 12's.

Ok i own and have a t04RR Garett turbo it bolts nicely onto the engine... however you will need a custom down pipe... i had it installed long enough to drive my care home and then my engine blew... But the guy who did all the turbo work for me assured me easly you could get 450hp out of it with the proper:
intake
exhaust
feul
-injectors
-feul pump
feul management
BOV
Wastegate

but you are easily looking at $3000-3500 by the time you have all you need!

what kind of management do those whose running 350-400whp using? would you be able to get by with a safc and larger injectors? or is something like the apexi power fc needed? thanks

Haltech E6K, Microtech, Motec, AEM or PFC. Those last 2 are only for the FD. Personally I have a 60-1hifi and a Haltech sitting here waiting to go onto my TII. Some people will tell you that you can go that far on a piggy back, but I wouldn't try it.

I love going against the odds ;) my plan is probably for a 60-1 hyrbrid with bandaid ecu's, although the greddy e manage sure does look nice....

BlackFC 10-17-02 05:12 PM

The GReddy E-manage is a bandaid ECU. I used to have that motivation to, until I put 2 motors in my last RX7. ASk BCain how many motors he blew on the stock turbo, and how many he has blown on the E6K/60-1Hifi.

Its your motor.

I've been told there is a version of the AEM for the FC now.

Get thee to the Single Turbo forum and read.

This is a start. Begin by putting a dollar figures next to each of those items (hint: if you purchase the cheapest parts, they break). To the list, add:
intercooler plus piping,
battery relocation (optional, but recommended),
Radiator,
Fuel pressure regulator,
Braided steel fuel lines,
Cast or tubular exhaust manifold,
Wastegate plumbing,
and other assorted accessories. This does not include internal engine parts (recommended): hardened stationary gears, hi-pressure oil pressure regulator, e-shaft oil pellet removal, etc...

Don't mean to discourage you. On the contrary, its lots of fun. Running out of $ in the middle of the project is not fun. By my reckoning, 380RWHP costs about 6k - to do it right.

Excel is your friend.

I have a full T04 and a new motor sitting in the engine bay. We havent fired her up yet. To tell you the truth it has taken me 3 long years for this project. In the beginning it was going smooth but at the near end thins were alot slower due to financial problem. Im poor so, everything is slow. It cost alot of money in my case its hard earned cash:) ... Just waiting for the Walbro and some other things needs to be hooked up then we should be ready to fire her up..
