cool! :D , something I'll want to have pretty soon.

What fuel mods are needed for the FCD to be installed safely? I've read that it should be ok even if the car is completely stock. Can someone confirm this?
Thanks

Well on my 88 Turbo II with a little over 200,000 hard driven, and daily driven miles. Also to mention "Twice severly over heated, "MILES", on a small street ported, "lets say Polish" on the exhaust port, by a friend of mine, not to mention the same guy made, and installed the fuel cut defense which is a "Radio Shack fuel cut defense special". On on any lightly moded Turbo II, I personally recommend you use GSL-SE injectors in the secondaries, and leave the stock primaries. This setup has been tested, and proven to work, if your in doubt I upgraded from the GSL-SE's to Greedy 720' s in the secondaries, however without any type of lets say fuel controller like a APEXI S-AFC your car is gonna run pig rich. :D

I also highly recommend you use some Bean Oil, on every other Full Tan Tank of gas. This helps in critical lubrication for all working components internaly. The bean Oil can be purchaed at any motorcycle, or dirt bike shop.

Home made FCD instructions:

If you are just looking for a cheap FCD, then you could also keep an eye on this forum to see when somebody is about to install a standalone EMS, and no longer needs their FCD. This is a good way to get one cheap.

A re-programmed stock ECU is also an option:

I ran my 88TII with a R/B 2 1/2'' exhaust system for a year with an FCD and no fuel enrichment. I tested it with a wideband and it was pretty stable at low 12's A/F under boost.

That bieng said, I also had put the stock airbox back on to keep the boost to under 11 PSI..

If you try to run 15 PSI of boost with an FCD and no fuel enrichment, I am fairly certain that you are going to puke your motor.

I sell the FCD's for 30 bucks shipped S4 or S5.. and I sell just the circuit board for the FCD for 7.50 shipped. If anyone wnats to put one together themselves, i highly suggest getting the board cause it will save you a LOT of headaches in wiring and soldering the thing
the thing!!!!!

the new boards and FCD boxes are at the botom of this page.

OOOH , i could do with one of them

are they easy to fit , does it come with instructions , are they that safe to use by themselves ( dont want it going bang ) & would you ship to the UK ?

thanks

stu

( still concerned about running a FCD without any fuel mods and stuff - although the car is standard - no mods at all apart from decat pipe )

I'm interested in the same questions, YearsOfDecay. What do you send us for the 30 bucks?

Thanks
