How Long Does The Rotary Engine Usually Last?
 

i was wondering when rotary engines usually die out.

apx 120,000 on turbo motors and aprox 160,000 on na's depending on how they are maintained, and driven.

well in reality rotarys die out when they are mistreated, i know people that have had an engine last them past 200k and still going strong, then theres the people that blow their seals 20k after a rebuild.

no one is saying not to work the engine, just dont do something stupid.

my s4 n/a engine has never been majorly worked on since it came out of the factory, of course it only has 81k miles on the entire car, but still.
