How to install 1600cc injectors into LIM???
 

Guys,

How do you install the Ford 1600cc injectors into a 1988 Turbo II??

The yellow body of the injector hits the diffuser in the LIM. How do you get around this. I was told that this was pretty much drop in.

I was also refered to BDC pictures but trying to mimic his it seems like mine will still not fit nicely like the stock ones did.

Do I trim the the yellow lip? Do I cut out the orange grommet??

I already cut out the green o-ring and tried to install the stock "new" grommets but like I said no go:(

Any help or pictures will be greatly appreciated since I have been staring at these for two weeks.

u will need to change the grommets? or was it the orings? i can't remember.
