How to hook up oil injectors to carb throttle?
When I got my 87 rx-7 n/a it had a weber dcoe 48 carb and the oil injectors wasnt hooked up to the carb throttle. How can I go about hooking it up? I have It all connected besides the oil injector linkage to the carb. Can anyone give me some good ideas?

I *think* what Mazdatrix does is feed the metered oil to a nipple on the side of the float bowl on a Holley.

anyone else got ideas?

You could e-mail the place you got it from and see what they say.

How could he do that? He got them on the car when he bought it, the pervious owner had them installed.
He should find someone who sells these kits and call/email them to see what they do/suggest. |
Sorry. It's RacingBeat that handles carbs for RX's. I've see their Holley verision and they add a nipple to the float bowl. The oil goes ito the float bowl.
Buy one of their catalogs. It's lmore than just a parts sellig tool. |
I've also seen the manifold drilled and tapped, and then the oil injector installed.

Or take a look at a first generation carb car. See how the the oil was fed from the omp to the float bowls.

err, if you read the post, he says the injectors are there and hooked up, he's asking how to hook the OMP rod to the carb.
I'd say you're going to have to fab something up. Is there any thing that turns on the front of the carb that you can hook it to that, just make a bracket out of 1/8" steel or aluminum. |
