How Hard is it to Pull Engine?

Well, some of you might have read my post about the spark plugs crossthreading, and I am now at the point where I gotta pull the engine out so I can get a better angle at it. Anyway, my question is is it gonna be fairly easy for an 18 year old and his friend to pull the engine in the back yard with a fairly decent supply of tools? Or am I getting in way over my head?

I have the factory service manual for pulling the engine printed out, and I got my hayes manual. I also got quite a few tools. Anyhting else I'm gonna need before I get started?

It's a fair amount of work but there's nothing really difficult about it. Read all the procedures in the FSM and Haynes a couple of times beforehand to get a good picture of the job in your head and figure out any tools or equipment you need but haven't got. If you've never done it before free up a whole day, but you shouldn't need it. Good luck! :D

if youre pulling the engine completely out? If so, disconnect the wiring harness from the ecu and pull it out throught the firewall. That way you dont have to unplug all the wires from the engine. Its way easier like this. When youre done just drop the engine back in, connect the wiring harness to the ecu and fire it up. Its pretty easy. Also check your motor mounts and make sure they arent broken.
