How hard to change the whole interior?

I"m looking at a 88 t2 and it has burgandy interior. If i buy the car how hard would it be to change the whole interior to black or tan. Is it hard to remove the whole dash and every piece that is burgandy? Also is there a shortage of decient parts in junk yards?

Well i dont think it would be hard, i pulled my dash for the first time in less than an hour, hardest part was getting it over the shifter, other than that it would just be the trim pecies around door and window.. like 2 scews a peace and pulling the seats to do carpet, i think in less than 3 hours if you had no idea what you were doing.. you could do it

Exactly take your time. RX7s are known for having fragile interior plastic to be sure you read a manual and find all the hidden screws and things. Esp the one for the radio sorround thing, the two screws in the top i always forget about, thats how i broke my last soround. Its not that hard, just be careful and im sure you can do it.

yup...very easy to do...just extremely time cooooonsuming. but the rewards when you are done is truly gratifying and satisfying. uhh yeah. o.k.

I swapped from the red int to blk and grey. I had a hard time finding all black. Its worth the time.
