how to get bolt out again....

ok the bolt is the in the bottom of the battery box. i discoverd that both of those holes where both full of dirt, dead bugs, and rust. so i get all that shit out to find the bolts rusted to hell i got the one closser to the drivers seat out rather easily with a 10mm socket. the front one how ever wa another story. i started by puting on a 10mm socket on it it just spun like the bolt was smaller than 10mm. so i put a 9mm on on it it was to big so i tried putting a 3/8 socket on it to big. so i went back to the 9mm and tried pounding it on with a hammer and no go. i tried pounding on a 8mm (dont know why) obviously didnt work so i treid just about everything i oculd think of i even cut a slot on the top and tried using a screw driver didnt work i tried an impact driver didnt work.

so my question is do you think an ez out will get it out or do you guys have ne other ideas cause im stumped.

Did you try.. an 8mm?

LOL

Otherwise, bust out the drill, maybe 1/4 or so (compare to the bolt you already removed, don't go any bigger than the shank of the bolt). Once the head is gone, and you remove the battery tray, you should be able to get rid of the remnants with a pair of pliers

The bolt is an M6x1.0 if you want to replace it.
