How to flow test Injectors

Is there any fairly quick and easy way to flow test injectors on your own? Is it as easy as hooking up a voltage to the injectors and measuring the fuel they flow over a period of seconds, and then dividing? Reason being, I sold a set of S4 Turbo 550cc injectors on Ebay. The guy got them, and just by looking at them tells me that they are not 550cc, but 460cc N/A injectors. These injectors came out of my 88 Turbo2, and I know they are 550s, and it pisses me off that he is basically calling me a liar, and may leave me negative feedback (Im getting really fed-up with some Ebay buyers in general...) Anyway, I wanted to give him a quick and easy way to tell, but wasnt exactly sure how to hook power to the injectors, being they are pulsed while in the car.

Maybe this might help prove it to him

look at the number on the side

flow testing as described would be barely accurate to find difference between 460's and 550's

but question if they are 550 or 460 should be solved by looking at part number on injector itself

The FSM describes this. You get a measuring cup (from walmart. Keep in mind mL is the same as cc. Use an old injector plug, and a battery. Watching the seconds on your watch, turn on the fuel pump and trigger the injector...measure output for 30 seconds, multiply the output by 2.

Cool, thanks guys, I completely forgot about the part number thing :dunce:
