how do I tekk if my motor is origonal?
 

My motor pulls too damn hard for it to have 150k miles on it. It has always. I bought the car used from a dealer. I do not know the history. The day I bought it I had a top speed of 144 MPH! wiht all the stock crap still on it. I have since removed most of it and replaced the exhaust, ported the intake. upgraded the ignition. modified the MAF, performance clutch kit, lightened, e-fan, and several other mods.
Anyway I want to know whay the hell this thing is this powerfull.

Cuz it has been well maintained. I am shocked every day that my 100K engine pulls like it does. Hey, I grew up in Springfiled, How old are you?

its possible. I know a guy that has an 87 T2 with almsot 200k original miles. Original motor and turbo.

Look at the motor mounts. Do they look kinda crusty...like they have never been messed with?

It's a turbo - it's supposed to drive like that. :)

Who are you tweaked? What color is your 7? I'm from around Springfield, MO and have a few RX-7 friends.

2 Red N/A's, 1 Red TII, My Black N/A ( In the shop, engine work in progress ), and Kyle's ( The Rotary Dr. ) Black GTUs.

Then there's a few guys I've never met. Ben Marr's Black 11 Second TII, and another Red N/A that looks just like the 2 before mentioned... then there's the guy with the Red N/A with a primered TII hood, and stickers all over it... Tell me that's not you.

It's always good to see RX-7's driving around the Ozarks.

I tell everyone I am 24 years old. then they always ask me "So how old are you?" I say 24.

My car is the metalic grey with the phone dial rims. it has a yellow "MazdaSpeed" sticher from the right fender accross the hood that I can't take off. I knew it was a mistake the day after I put it on. I thought it was cool 4 years ago. Now I wish I never did it. just like my tattoo.
Anyway back to my car. I am also the one that has been smashed in the ass by a four wheel drive with a brush gaurd. the guy didn't have insuranse so i am trying to get the money togethter to put on CF quarter panels and fenders with a complete paint job.
We should all get out together and raise hell in Springfield. Everyone I talk to is scared of the 7. as soon as I say "I drive a second gen RX7..." they usually say something to the effect of "Oh, shit!" then they proceed to tell me how the or a friend lost to one :)

As soon as I get mine BACK together, then I'm up for some fun.

Everyone is scared of the "2nd gen RX-7" is because everyone is STUPID and they only hear "blah blah blah The Fast and the Furious Car "

About that sticker, it may sound funny, but take a hair-dryer to it. If it can take a baked on factory sticker off a 10 year old Jetski, then the RX-7 shouldn't be a problem.
