How do I fix my turn signal?
 

I have the damn hyper blinking turn signal. It is only the right turn that does it. I removed the relay from the CPU and took some digital photos hoping somebody here might know how to fix it. I am comfortable with replacing any part of the circuit board but I don't know which part is bad. I'd rather not spend $60 to get a new one. Here they are; any help would be greatly appreciated!

O.K.! Does anyone even know of a website where I can find out what each of these resistors are supposed to read? There seems to be only like 5 different ones on it, and everything is marked or color coded. If I have to rebuild the whole thing I will. I can get the resistors for free, and then just reuse the board. But I'd rather just replace one bad resistor and be done.

Is it possible to wire in a flasher from another car? I have an 89' 626 with a working flasher that I can swap in if it will work.

you sure you just don't have a bad bulb or a wrong bulb in?

Any short or wrong resistance will cause the "hyper blinker"

Because normaly the CPU when it fails, fails on both sides. Not just one.

Which screams bad bulb or broken/shorted wire on your car to me

Are you talking about the resistor(R) or the transistor(Q)?

The color codes for the resistors is easy: 4 color stripes, the last being gold (5% tolerance) or silver (10%). The first and second form the number the third id the multiplier(number of zero's) An example: brown/black/red/gold = 1/0/00 5% or 1000ohm =/-5%

Transistors are much more complex, the number printed on the body is normally the part number, write the one you want down and go to the supplier, they can crossreference the number to a stocked part. Better yet take the circuit with you and let them read off the number:D
