How to clean injectors (out)?

Yo.. I've got my injectors here.. Is there something I can soak them in to clean them out? I know, I know, I should send them off to be cleaned.. But i'm cheap and poor. ;)

as a matter of fact...when my car was down for several months, cause I was broke, and had a suspended license, I took my fuel injectors out and soaked them in regular old engine degreaser. I just sprayed it into a cup and soaked the injectors overnight. Before I did that my car used to flood if I started it and shut it down without letting it warm up(like everyone else here), but since then, I have NEVER flooded my car and its been almost a year. Even if I start my engine just to back my car out of the driveway, it won't flood.

Sweet.. I just bought a can of it yesterday.. I'll wait an hour or so just to make sure noone goes "OH NO! Engine degreaser DESTROYS injectors!!!", then start the soaking process..

Would it be bad to soak for a "long" time? The car is going to be out of commission for at least 2 or 3 more weeks... Should I leave them in, or just do it for a day or two?

honestly, I don't have a clue. I left mine soaking for 24 hours. I was sorta just crossing my fingers hoping it wouldn't hurt anything. I don't see how though. If gasoline can go through them, and fuel injector cleaner can go through them, I don't see how degreaser could hurt. Maybe try soaking them in fuel injector cleaner instead, to make sure.
