How bout putting the new renensis engine in my FC....think it'd be possible? "why?" you would ask...becuz i would like to see it done and how much money it would take....no im not thinking about doing an engine swap cuz im broke....but i just think it would be interesting

been posted before. I would be a massive undertaking which would not be worth the money and the only benefit over a TII swap would be "Oh btw it has a renesis" bragging rights.

You need the realize that because it's new it doesn't mean it's better. The older PP exhaust port makes for better potential for power. The new motor does have lighter internal components (i.e. lighter rotors) and higher compression, but these contribute very little to the overall poewr output. Remember, the new RX-8 redline is significantly higher. Torque figures are lower, and an FC with NA 13B will match those torque number with a full exhaust.

By the time you pay for that RX-8 engine and install it, you could've had a BP 13B NA that'll probably make more power...

Why would anyone spend 10K so YOU can see it done. Not a very good reason in my eyes. I am sure it will be done one day (not by me).

Frankly, if I want that engine I'll just buy a 8 and add it to the stable.
