all about the sliding i think they look the best but the cable ones are pritty bad ass until you get bugs on the cable and you dont like cleaning the antennas with bug guts so cable might not be the best choice.

Locking you don't want your hood to get stolen. :)

I say sliding. I got them on my TII and I love them damn things. Locking ones are a bad idea IMO. What happens if you lose the key? Besides that, very few people would even know what to do with a hood like that.

I have a set of the cable ones on my beater (hood latch broke...) and I wouldnt recommend them. They're stiff to get off, a cable broke, and theyre already rusting. Though some of my problems might be because I bought the cheapest hood pins the parts store had, still I say go for the sliding ones.

I say don't get any pins...those are how my pretty red 87 N/A got all fucked up.

i have some blue anodized ones on my car. its the easiest thing in the world to open that hood. im glad i did it. im not worried about other people opening the hood since not many people would know what they were looking at when they opened it.

i hope your not putting these on a stock hood...

I was thinking of putting them on the stock hood in the meantime... and I don't feel comfortable drilling holes in it so I am going to use either velcro or tape to hold them on. I also thought about making a cardboard hood scoop.

Tell me you are kidding, right?

yea i definantly need hood pins man my crossmember that the hood latch was on got all bent up and i wealded a new one on and its not perfecly lined up so the hood latch wont work, im using one of those strap downs right now going from the drivers side on the sway bar up the the latch on the hood then down to the passenger side on the sway bar. I just need some good qualiy pins. i saw the sliding ones and i just think those are ugly as hell and besides that all i see taped to the hoods of those hondas.
