how the hell do I get that f'n buzzer to stop ringing??? the original wiring harness is completly removed in my 91vert :wallbash: cosmo swap everything works fine but that f'n buzzer rings about 5 seconds after I start the car I'm going to rip that f'n dashboard out!!!

try this.Got to the top of the radiator.take the wire going to the Coolant Level Sender(top sender on rad).Disconnect it and Ground it.If the buzzing stops,then it is ONE of TWO things.One is you have low coolant,or Two: you have air in your cooling system.

sorry I wasn't clear I have a 13-re swapped in with a haltech e6x no original wiring harness or wires at all...new radiator with no coolant level sensor hooked to it for the haltech...stock computer gone...all original wiring for engine gone! should i just rip out the dash and find the device that buzzes???

There has to be some stock wiring left if the buzzer goes off. If there was no wiring then the buzzer would not recieve any power.

The CPU, not the ECU, deals with the coolant level. Find the wire that Misterstyx69 is talking about and ground it.

I bet you removed your power steering right? If so, remove or unplug your power steering computer.

the coolant level sensor connects to the front harness, not the engine harness. if you took out the front harness then your headlights, and most of your electronics wouldn't work.

by the dead pedal. its a black box "fc01" or "fb01" i believe.

The low coolant, low oil and over rev buzzer are controlled by the gauge cluster, not the CPU. In the case of the low coolant trigger of the buzzer, if the coolant level sensor does not "see" ground through the coolant, it triggers the buzzer in the gauge cluster.

The CPU controls the warning buzzer for lights on, and seat belts.

He obviously has not hooked up the radiator level sensor that plugs into the front harness. Not related to the engine harness.

sorry for the language....anyone know which wire (color) it is for that plug (front harness??) so I can rip it out??

That is the problem... it is not connected. Ripping the wire out will only continue the problem.

You need to hook it up to the level sensor in the radiator and make sure your radiator is full. The buzzer is going off because the wire probably is ripped out already instead of being hooked up.

You need to either hook the Brown/white coolant level wire up to the proper sensor or you need to Micky Mouse it (because you don't care about your motor if you mickey mouse it) by grounding the brown/white wire.
