high temp fuel line hose?
 

i replaced one of my fuel lines the other day that had a slow drip on it and found that at 40k miles, the ends were cracked and the hose was overly spongey in some places.

has anyone found a high temp fuel hose? so far this is the best i've found - http://www.hbdthermoid1.com/thermoid...=280,281,12128

the temp range on it is -29F to +275F. silicone goes up to +350 (yes, i know you don't wanna use silicone hose for fuel/oil).

Teflon -- -100F to +450F

it looks like the socketless would do the trick, but that's pretty scary to not use a clamp on a fuel line!

Yes it is...I've read that over and over and still can't figure it out. I'm sure it's good because they rate it at 250psi, but it's still freaky. I think the key is making sure the ends are cut and installed correctly. Maybe someone else has used this and can comment.

I have some of that blue silicone hose which I'm using for my turbo coolaent inlet and I will tell you.

IT WILL STAY ON! I had a bitch of a time slipping it onto some barbed fittings. That thing won't come off.

I did use a hose clamp where it connects to the turbo but that's because it isn't barbed.
