High Speed Heat/Turbo Pulls

I'm finally done building my car and am now left with a single heat related issue. STOCK Turbo - Electric rad fan/10puller/under-tray/baffle plate/FMIC/Koyo rad/Stock oil cooler. Oil Castrol 20W50

Problem started when installing FMIC and new used turbo which works fine, but I don't know if that can cause such heating issues.

Heat numbers 71 Oil 71 Coolant Sitting, When City Driving 82-82

When highway driving at 100KPH 90 Oil 82 Coolant.

When doing turbo pulls the Oil temp rises quickly from 81-90-95-100:
Within couple of pulls. The coolant is normal maybe 93 vs the oil at 100

It takes me 2-3minutes to get back to normal operation temperatures with no issues when it comes to getting the heat back down, just turn on the heater and let it go.

Rather my problem stems from the FMIC blocking air flow or a fault with the turbo. I do have a baffle pan and under-tray with one large Fan shroud and a secondary fan taking mounted between FMIC and Radiator to pull cool air into the Oil cooler.

Anyone have some ideas on what I should look into next.

Do you have enough air flow coming into the car and being able to feed into the front of the bumper? Sounds like with a large FMIC, there isn't much and the fans aren't able to pull any since there's no more room

Yes

That is the issue at hand, and the cause of effect due to using a FMIC.

I have installed a fan in-between and I also just finished installing a flex hose outside to the inside of the cavity; via the Skid plate to direct a new air channel. I also installed a very useful Cooling plate on top to direct the fan with a good 10% cooling increase, but again Today was barely 4 degress Celcius out so I won't know if the effect will remain once warmer temperatures come.

High speeds and excess speeds gave me only 80C which is lower then operating and coolant temps of only 70C.

I can't say definitively that it was giving me a cooler channel but I'll edit the results next track day with similar temperatures.

sounds like typical numbers for your setup.

Yep

Yep, going to close thread.

What I have done : with a big FMIC, isn't very useful unless you start relocated and routing airflow into the oil cooler or best yet, just re-use FD- Twin coolers.

With a cooling plate this setup does work, but you'll need to also install electric fan inside the relay/overflow tank area.

Majority just install more electric fans.
