High Imp S4 Injector clips

Has anyone ever found a source for these? All I seem to find in my searching is people who buy the low imp clips and shave the offset key off of the injector...

try some ford injector clips.

They are injector "connectors", not clips.

The high impedance injectors come in two varieties. The S5 style is round, with very hard to find connectors. The S4 style are square, and you can get those at any auto parts store. File off the off-center locating tab on the injector.

Fat chance with a parts store. If its not a direct replacement part they can look up on the computer, then they will tell you it doesn't exist. I had to get the part number in advance, walk into the store and tell them "its made by borg-warner, its part number XXXX." Even then I had to get the manager to know what to do.

What I recommend is getting them from summit: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
14 bucks for 8 of them. Even with their damn handling fee its still not too bad. They are very high quality, with rubber grommets on the end to weatherproof them. The retaining clips are also super easy to take off, unlike the stock ones.

No such thing short of buying a new engine harness from Mazda and cutting off those blasted clips...
Royal waste of money...

Get the summit ones. IF you need them ASAP you can get them at NAPA. However, the price is more, and you only get one.

I just walk in and get them right off the shelf. They're in the isle with all the electrical connectors. Your store sucks. :)

LOL, I think you're the only one who read my post thoroughly. That's the answer I was afraid I was going to get. Thanks.... I guess I'll just cut the offset key off of the injector. :(
