you have about 27" frame rail to frame rail and about 10-12" top to bottom, unless you really get to cutting.

the new greddy sits in front of the frame rails so its wider than 27"

just find the greddy front mount thats 1400 bucks and measure it, thats mine.

my NPR fit without cutting anything, just relocationg things

for more pics go to http://www.niteshade.net/89t2/fmic

i relocated the coolant reservoir, relays, horns and removed a part of the hood latch (which still works perfectly)

it's stealthy and once the pipes are run itll be more then effective.

That is a nice set-up Kevin!

I was going to do my NPR that way when I was still thiking of FMIC.

For those who aren't familiar w/ that fitment syle you reclock the turbo compressor outlet down and have a short pipe that has 1 90 deg bend to the IC inlet.

The IC outlet pipe is a longer w/ more bends, but still not bad.

Kevin, will you have to shift the oil cooler to the passenger side a bit for the IC outlet pipe? or does it clear?

the outlet pipe is able to fit around the radiator and oil cooler, it'll be run right near the oil cooler lines in that same area there's room for 3" pipe, barely.

As for the reclocking, thats a great idea i never evn thought of that, time to go do some reading lol.

and thanks for the compliments ;) that fitment took some imagination.

nope not yet, yes at its current state its a type of rice, but thats simply cause i ran out of money for silicone couplers. i quit my job and basically was waiting for holidays to end to go job hunting (have a job in the works right now) so i can afford my fc and its mods.

i ran some cheap homedepot flexhose shit to map out how the pipes will go and where they will go, everything fit and worked so now its a waiting game.

Ah yes, money sucks. I just wasnt sure why you had a FMIC and the stock TMIC.

You should just be like (to the uninformed fools who say stuff like "HAHAHA RX7?!!? DID IT CATCH ON FIRE YET?!) "it's to keep my engine from bursting into flames.

Ok maybe not, it was funnier in my head than when I typed it out and realized it was stupid.

+1 post ;)

We use all "Skyline" type IC cores, which typically measure 24"/600mm wide and 3" thick.  Height varies anywhere from 10" to 19", depending on manufacturer.
