I've got a 90 gtu and have the same sort of hesitation at 6.5K. It will studder hard and doesnt want to go any further. If im going hard it will do it always, if im slowly accelerating it will rev right throught the 6.5K hesitation.

I've been told its my aux ports. This probably doesnt apply to your turbo setup though....sorry....just rambling...

Okay the TPS is at 1k while my throttle is open enough for 600-700 rpm idle (using stop) I have the TB mod done, It was at 1.7k before which was probably 1k with the stop all the way off it backfires and pops. my TPS is out of spec but its been out of spec and the prob is new. .5k - 6.5k

I and others have had this problem, your TPS is probably either out of adjustment or fubared and you'll need a replacement.

shit, thats the worst case scenario, Im broke-asfuck, I was hoping it was something I could tune-out

It might be, there are a few different ways to adjust the TPS. Did you sweep test it with an analog meter though? That can tell you if there are dead spots. If it passes a sweep test (at least do it a few times to be sure, the difference in time to do it once versus three is very little I think) then adjust it one way, try it out carefully, if that doesn't work try another method. I think I've seen at least three methods to set the TPS. One is the two LED method, I've used that and it seems to work decent for me; another is by checking/setting resistance between two terminals somehow and another I think you can measure/set voltage. I don't know exactly how to do either of the last two but I'm sure it's typed out somewhere here.

I use a DMM and measure it to 1k at rest.
