Help, Yet Another Idle Prob.

i have a 91n/a. my prob is whenever i have the headlights on coming up to a stop and i push the brake, my idle starts to dance between 500 and 800 rpms. when i let off the brake the idle returns to normal....is anyone out there that has the same prob???

You may have more than one problem. When you increase the electrical load (like having headlights on) and it affects idle, you may have some poor grounds. Chack your major grounds and clean them up or add additional grounds.

Bouncing idle, whenever it occurs, may be helped by proper adjustment of the TPS. Dos a search and you'll find a ton of info on both topics....good luck

BAC valve. It's function is to keep idle speed consistant, when a load is placed on the engine, by allowing a metered amount of air into the intake. Check for proper electrical operation. Also ckeck to be certain the inner seal is sealing properly.
