All I can really suggest is checking your wiring against the wiring diagram in the factory service manual, and check the continuity on harness of the affected systems.

are you saying that he has cut up the factory wiring harness and has made his own custom little harness, with his own switches that will work everything that he wants?

My suggestion would be to find a used, unmolested harness and replace yours with it. Buy a pack of permanent markers and mark each plug (I just use 1,2,3... lines on the plug) Be sure to mark both sides of the plug. Once you have your old harness out you can lay it out and transfre the marks to the replacement harness and then just plug it back in. If yours is missing plugs pick up a haynes manual, it should have both diagram and loom views and will give you all the info you need to line out any missing plugs. It would probably be best to get a harness from a car that is the same year and trim as yours, or a better trim model though that may give you extra plugs that you wont need. I believe all fc harnesses are the same as long as it is the same series car but I dont know for sure.
This will probably take you all of a weekend to do so plan on your car being down for a bit. Hope this helps, J. P.S. where are you in TX? I may be able to lend a hand |

Yeah I have learned to check things like that when I buy one because electrical problems can be a real pain.
Where he teed off should be easy just cut the wire he added and and leave it till you can lay it out with the replacement harness. As far as the ones he cut goes your best bet is to try and find the pig tail he cut off. You can match wire color and number of pins if he cut it near the plug but if he cut it back in the harness then you will likely wind up removing everything and reconstructing the original harness to get all the plugs lined out then x-ferring that to the new one. Man what a headache, I hate it when i find ones like this! |

Here ya go! $35 This guy is great to deal with too. I used to swap parts with him when he was in Tx. H also has a lot of bits and pieces that are getting hard to find elsewhere and hes a lot cheaper than some other folks. |
thanks well i was going to do all the wiring again but the motor i was going to buy got sold so im prob going to end up buying a front clip RHD and that comes with every thing in the dash already :) i dont like wires much so i will just leave it alone for now the just swap it from the front clip thanks any way!
