Cooling fan Control Unit.

It is grey in color and has *Engine Fail* written on it.

How convenient.
In case you can't figure out how to blow the engine yourself or get wasted by a 240, just plug this in and it commits seppuku.

Those Japanese think of everything.

hailers, just to be clear, the part that this black plug goes into is grey in color somewhere under the passenger side dash ? I've looked but dont see where it plugs in, can you be more specific?

so ive done more searching for where this plugs into and I still can't find it near the ecu. ive read from here: http://www.fd3s.net/fan_mod.html that its behind the ecu and its a black plastic box, but i removed the ecu to not find this black box.

there was also a previous post from Hailers that said:
"There is a *Fan Control Unit* and it is inside the car. It has a plastic cover, grey in color and is in the passengers foot area up...fwd.. far right. " but i am still having no luck with finding this. please help.
