Remove the corner triangle piece on the inside of the window.

Mazda will sell you a new pair for $30

$30 dollars, I just go to the junkyard and pocket one.

I believe that makes you a thief.

Actually, there are more screws to tighten. I had this problem once. Very carefully remove the plastic triangle interior piece to access the 3 screws that fix the mirror in place. Loosen them out and remove the mirror.

You'll see the additional screws that attatch the mounting bracket to the mirror body itself. Tighten them up, then put the mirror back on. This is what I had to do on my S5 passenger mirror once. They were loose and just kinda rattled a bit. After tightening these hidden screws it was fine.

30 bucks too much for you to spare? :ugh2:

Over time they become brittle under the sun. It's a good idea to get new ones while Mazda still HAS them.

:slap:

There is also a door panel screw below and to the right of the triangle piece. If you loosen up the door panel a bit, it makes it easier to pop out the triangle piece and less likely that you will break or crack it.
