We're only all knowing on the weekdays. Just out of curiosity have you checked how healthy the engine is? Compression check?

a little smoke is okay on start up, if the smoking gets worse you may have a problem with a seal; but, lets be optimistic and hope it's not. Does it do this whenever you start, or just when the engine is cold?

RAWRX7 10-27-07 09:33 PM

every time i start it. I have not done a compression test the engine should only have less than an 100K miles on it.

the weird thing was that it just all of a suddenly it happen one day.
the one thing i need to do still is the timing but i dont think its off.

well get a compression test done regardless if it's the problem or not. It will at least give a clue as to the health of the engine, and put worries to rest or give you something to save up for. If it happens EVERY time, even on starts when it is at op temp. then rules out the thermowax right? So my next guess would be the fuel system.
