Help with Replacing inner tie rods

I am trying to replace the inner tie rods on my manual rack and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the old ones. Anyone do this before or know how?

I've never done one on an fc before. If it's similar to other cars then pull off the boot, straighten out the retaining washer, and take it off with an open end wrench or adjustable wrench. Reinstall just like you removed it, but in reverse order.

Haven't done tie rods on the manual rack, but on the PS rack there is a washer to straighten out. When you start spinning out the inner tie rod out of the rack a small pin will pop up from the rack that's used to keep the tie from from loosening itself out of the rack. Aka just be a man and muscle it out, but dont forget to use a pair of pliers to push that pin back in.
