help plz. on 2 questions

ok first I hear that it is not good to put a full exhaust (header, new cat, and cat back system) on with out first tuning the computer. is that true? If I wanted to buy a pace setter system and replace the old cat. with a new oe one will it be fine or will the fuel system and computer need to be upgraded?
Next I have a friend that just got a FC and it turns out that there is a voltage drop that keeps the car from starting sometimes, it will happen when ever it wants. Is it possible that there could be a problem w/ the power steering comp. that could cause this? any help will be put to great use and thanks!

#1. The NA computer isn't tuneable. Avoid pacesetter and go racingbeat.

#2. He needs to test the entire electrical system. It either has a short, a bad starter, a dead battery, or poor charging.

RacingBeat hands down.

well I am not about to throw $1000 on a system when Im in school and just want something to replace it with, the old system has alot of holes in it, and Im not going for power just yet. But still no answers, should I chip the N/A computer or do I need to? and since pace setter is not as good as racing beat would I have to since it will still have enough pressure backing up, I just don't think that I would need to chip the computer and upgrade the fuel system for that little pace setter system. and we have got the voltage drop under control, bad cables to the battery.

you didn't read the first reply.

The stock computer is not tuneable/chipable at this time. Either way.. the stock non turbo fuel injection system will handle 225 hp.... more than you could even make without changing port timing. This is not some silly FWD economy car that there are 5 billion ebay parts for.

The Pacesetter exhaust is a waste of money and less than a couple hundred less than the racing beat exhaust. going with the pacesetter you will be just re-purchasing your exhaust again in a couple years. There is not a difference in exhaust pressure or anything like that (which I think you were trying to say... who knows you were not that clear)...but its rather the poor quality of materials and poor sound quality that are the biggest problems. The fact that it looks pretty bad is a whole different issue as well.
