help please. No oil pressure.

Just got my seven started after doing some modes and it isnt running great but worst of all no oil pressure. Everything I did was removed rats nest, acv, thermowax, discoonected the four solenoids by the oil filler neck, removed stovk air bypass valve. I installed 720 injectors, front mount intercooler, aftermarket blow off valve and boost controller. I let it idle for a little while and drove it around the block. While going around the block I noticed no oil pressure and it doesnt look like it is moving through the oil metering lines either. I'm worried I could have screwed up my seals or worse by going around the block with it this way. I'm not seeing any disconnected wires that should be connected.

You probably knocked the little connector off the oil pressure sending unit. It's on the driver's side, i think right underneath the oil pedestal. If you did any work to it that intruded into the oil metering system, then you should probably run a couple tanks premixed before you tear the engine up. You really won't see oil flowing through the lines though, it pretty much drips oil at a super slow rate into the engine.

The sending unit looks about 2" in diameter, goldish in color, and has a circular knob on the end that the single wire connector attaches to.

Figured out oil pressure. sending unit got diconnected. and oil metering pump was disconnected. Everything seems fine, but still worried about damage since the oil metering pump was disconnected when I went around the block. Also is it easy to see the oil moving in the lines, because it doesnt look like it is.

Thank you AGreen. I should have refreshed before I quick replied. I didnt do anything to oil metering system. Hopefully everything is fine.

If you only went around the block you are fine.
Really..some people think these engines are made of glass, but then again you ever see Glass Spin at 10,000 Rpm,Daily?.
Enjoy your ride!..and Cheers!..lol!

You'd be surprised how little oil is actually pumped into the combustio chamber via the oil meter pump. As said, unless you drove to San Diego and back with the pump disconnected (I assume you're talking about the actuator rod), no harm no foul

you can run an engine for thousands of miles without any OMP or premix but it will cause excessive wear. running it for a few minutes is nothing to worry about, but as suggested if you opened the OMP system then you should premix for about 2 full tanks of fuel.

you won't really see oil moving through the lines unless you feel like watching them for hours, even watching a snail race would be like in fast forward.
