help!! which oil lines go where?!?!

Just about done with my installation, but i need to know which oil line goes where, there's two on the lower intake manifold and two on the block, and they are bolted onto the oil pump with 4 different banjo bolts, i read in the haynes manual to match up the colors, but i'm not even sure if the lines are connected to the right places on the manifold and block, so the question is...

which oil line connects to which spot on the oil pump?

they're color coded. look in the manual, or at fc3s.org if you don't have it, to find out which goes where

you'll probably have to clean them real good to see the colors though

thats the thing, i'm not even sure if its connect to the right spots on the manifold or the block, and i also bought two new oil lines that dont have colors on them.

Download the fsm for a 88 at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com

Look at page 1-70 and 1-74 and your answer is there. That's in the ENGINE section.

Or: White...goes to the front rotor housing
Yellow goes to the rear rotor housing
Blue goes to the front inlet port
Green goes to the rear inlet port

Rotor housing is the rotor housing and the front and rear inlet ports are on the lower intake manifold.

And to put it all together: Looking straight at the heads of the banjo bolts on the metering oil pump: The top left one is Blue for the front rotor housing.....the top right one is White for the rear rotor housing.....the bottom left is Green for the rear inlet........and the bottom right is Yellow, for the rear inlet

Confused? Shouldn't be. If you are, download the fsm at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com the ENGINE section and look at the pages referenced above.

The manual should say what goes where. I'd assume that the colors would be the same both places where they connect, but I could be wrong.
