HELP!!! My new T2 and I got a question

Ok I just got out from under my car and where my downpipe connects to the block, I have a problem!!
There are 3 studs going from the block through the flange on the downpipe and there "SHOULD" be 3 nuts holding the downpipe on.
But..............as you guessed it there is only 1!!!
I need to know what size the nut is so I can go and get more!!!
Thanks!!

Just a thought. If it doesn't have the converter still on, just remove the remaining nut and use that as a sample. That way you can also check the gasket.

Yeah I thought of that but I need to get to the parts store.......aka need the 7 to get there :( Otherwise I would love to just do that!!! Way easier! :)

Sorry for another post, but the reason I mention the converter, is that it is a real pain trying to get to the nuts if the converter hasn't been removed.. If it's just a downpipe no problems. The original nuts had locks attached. When I put my downpipe on I removed the locks from the original and put them on the new downpipe. When you install nuts use some kind of locks e.g. washers. The originals had tabs that were bent up around the nuts.

Well I the car already has the DP on and I just need to get new nuts for it! LMAO!!!!!!

remove the old nut, go to the hardware store, match it up.

1.) try to find a bolt around the house that the nut fits on
2.) put nut back on car
3.) go to hardware store and find nut to fit bolt
That's what I did, but I bought a bunch so I can't remember what size that was. Sorry

Holy hell people...The nuts are standard M10 nuts. Just go to a hardware store and buy some. Also, get some nice lockwashers while you're at it...
