Help me identify those wires and plugs

Hey guys... a couple of months back I bought an FC s4 N/a that has stood for over 12 years! I started to restorate it and checked the engine.... compression is good so i put the engine back in! since I got the car mostly disassembled and in bad a pretty bad condition I now have a couple of plugs i cant figure out where to connect. So I hope you guys can help me out!

Its a 13b n/A engine with dizzy (eu spec)

The wire with the two white plugs on the right is fixed to the transmission but i have no idea where to plug it in or what to plug in it! Green and white plug on the left are from the engine harness if i recollect correctly!

And then there is that wire: Its coming from the wiring loom on the passenger side where the AFM / injector driver? / Headlights etc. are on! Plug seems to be missing!

I had a couple of blown fuses and my headlights dont pop up nor light up (only if I press the pop up button and only the high beams work!) Ive read quite a bit about that issue and i guess the previous owner hooked the battery up backwards and fried a couple of things...thats one of the many reasons he abondoned the project to resurect this rx7! mainly because he obviously is absolutely uncapable of doing any work on a rotary considering all the other idiotic takes he did on that car to get it back on the road (covering rusty arches with silicone / Wiring two pull switches for each coil to keep it from flooding .... yes you read that right! he wired switches in the coils and hoped to deflood the engine that way! / messing up a lot of wiring in the interior which took me ages to undo and so on and so forth!) So Status now is:

Alternator is rebuild and cranks strong! Fuelpump doesnt prime but works when the flap of the AFM opens! Injectors dont work! I redid all the grounds so those are fine! Now its either a fried ecu I would guess or a broken circuit ?! So before I pull out my multimeter again and rip out the ecu to check I thought Id first connect the missing plugs :) Even though Im quite sure they are not the reason the engine is not firing at the moment!

Here are a few pics of the car for reference.:

thats how i got her!

And thats her at the moment! ... Rust removed/ sourced missing bits / painted / PU Bushings all around / lowering springs / BBS wheels / new clutch / new starter / and on and on goes the list! Ive spent a lot of hours getting the car roadworthy again and the only thing keeping me from getting it back on the road now is to figure out whats wrong with the electrics! So thanks in advance :)

So the left hand white plug goes into the throttle body.

The one from the gearbox is probably for the reverse switch, mine comes out from the starter motor loom. But I'm RHD so it may be slightly different.

Not sure about the green one as it wasn't plugged in on mine either.

Thanks a lot @theDevilX

IAT sensor is now connected :) If the green plug isnt connected I dont worry about it.... i guess its for something my car doesnt have like AC or something :D

the two white plugs are allready connected on my starter harness so i guess those two belong somewhere else.... will get under the car to check on the gearbox they might belong there! So only wires left to identify are the two on the airbox that are flying around.... :/

btw. I pulled the intake manifold again as my primary injector rail was leaking .... and while at it i checked the injectors! only 2 click the other two seem clogged.... resistance is in spec on every injector so thats okay I guess will try some WD40 over night and check if I can get them going again.
Damn this car is driving me nuts ::wallbash:

So status update:

(i just noticed i said alternator on my last post .. i meant starter)
Starter is still fine and cranking strong with the 2kw motor of the AT starter ... yay
Fuelpump relay is fried so for now its looped and the fuelpump runs
1 Primary / 1 Secondary Injector is clogged
small Fuel leak on the primary fuel rail which i think is now fixed with new rubberseals on injectors(Its an s4 NA and i dont have a plastic spacer! Is that normal? or did he manage to F*!# that up as well?)
ECU is fine! Checked al inputs and outputs and it does get power and is grounded as it should....

Now to the open questions:

- Still what are the wires from the second picture (what plug used to be there) :crzyeye:

- I changed the rubber seals on my primaries and even though one is clogged, i pressure tested them! The fuel return line sounds like its having air bubbles in it! Could that be from a small leak that still persists on the injectors or is that sound normal? Its not a smooth flow back .... its not like its gurgling and spitting or anything but if you listen cloesly you can hear some minor ... im missing the word.... slushing / gurgling sounds. like it has air bubbles in the fuel line! fuelpump is a walbro 255 since thats what i had flying around and its hard to get rx7 parts in germany! And I am sure the fuelpump doenst pull air (sock is conected / and pump is mounted on stock location / Tank half full) could a leak somewhere else cause that? fuel feed is silently flowing but then again it has a lot more pressure than the return line...

- Well injectors are now out again and in a wd40 bath and which will be followed by ultra sonic cleaning.... If i get them unstuck theyll go back otherwise Ill bite the bullet and order some from japan or Uk or USA.... Even though I really dont want to as I have plans for the motor and will be upgrading in the future.... just want it to run so i can pass inspection and get it registered again!

- car had 2 bad injectors (one primary one secondary / I think we can ignore the secondary for now as it isnt involved in startup) starts and runs as long as there is starter fluid in the system but stalls after its gone .... so i guess the ignition is fine! ECU is fine / fuel pump is pumping .... shouldnt it at least try to start on one chamber with one working injector? when i tried to start it it just cranked and cranked... didnt even try to fire up...

Will post updates soon

thanks so far :)

little update:

soaked the injectors in WD40 over night and did an ultra sonic cleaning ... resistance is still within spec but they dont click and are still stuck! so i placed both stuck injectors on the secondary rail and installed the good injectors in the primary rail after a good cleaning! Primary rail DOES need a spacer! As i mentioned before mine didnt so i made one! no leaks / no slushing gurgling sounds now :) so thats fixed! ... installed the intake and the car fired right up! YAY ... just ran it for a couple of seconds as i dont have any cooland in the motor but am happy as hell that the engine is running again after 12 years...

Now on to the remaining question:

- Still what are the wires from the second picture (what plug used to be there) https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/Eyecrazy.gif

Will post updates soon

thanks so far https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Are you able to post a pic of the wires/connection for the water-thermo sensor? It's near the alternator!
