Help me identify/plug in this wire
 

(86 RX7 S4 Na)
so engine swap, yada yada sold 13b and buyer took battery hook ups and not sure if this wire was plugged straight into a connector closer to the terminal or what.. cant seem to find a way to plug it back into the fuse block.. but digitalsolo on norotors identified it as a 12v source? just confused any help appreciated

There should be a wire with the "other side" to that connector,which in turn connects by an eyelet to one side of the fuse block.
That wire you have shown leads to the alt/battery + harness..so ya it is 12volts that "would feed the fuse block.(provided you get the other piece of wire to connect it up)
without that you do not get any voltage to stuff like the starter and your ignition would have ZIP without that wire attached to the fuse block..so turn the key and you get nothing,..

so i should cut behind the connector, add an eyelet to it.. while also make a wire from battery terminal to another eyelet both held by the bolt to the fuse block? maybe the other side of the fuse going to starter? or bat to one side and that black wire and new starter loop to the other to get the effect of the fuse?.. sorry im a lil tipsy but appreciate the help .. engine is hopefully getting dropped in tomorrow and just wiring left

Hmm..just wondering also IF there is single connection UNDER the fuse block.I vaguely remember a single wire there too.Been a while.

You'll really have to check that out..when you are less tipsy!..

again.. i have no clue.. didnt take enough pics before selling the engine i guess.. fuse block has plastic doors on both sides to bolt to the 80/100amp fuse

Flip the darn fuse block over and check visually to see if there is a Place for that single connector.
The Main fuse is always bolted in.You would not want to start driving and have that shake loose would you?.It is a "safety feature".

there is not a place for that connector, beginnning to think there was like an eyelit that went from other side of fuse to a connector to fit the black one but cant find any really zoomed in wiring diagrams or pics of it
any oem pics of the set up?
