Help me identify this engine please

I'm looking at a series 5 13b turbo core someone has for sale on the internet,

Is there markings or serial numbers, etc on the core itself to confirm it is an S5 TII core?

Thanks

No.

I should have knock sensor bungs over the trailing spakr plug holes - this confirms Kouki engine.

The turbo engine should have holes for the turbo water cooling on the opposite side - this confirms it's a turbo engine.  Also, the oil supply line that runs over the front iron...

Also, the lack of an EGR.... If you can see that area.

hey u guys think a S5 gasket kit will work for a S4? at least some of the gaskets?

RotaryEvolution 05-03-12 10:14 AM

what does this have to do with an 8 year old thread?

and no, only 2 gaskets from the series 5 kit will work for a series 4 which is the front cover and LIM to block gaskets, 95% of the gaskets are different short of those 2.
