Help - looking for a price-recommendation for a near perfect 1988 Convertible...

We're considering selling our beloved 1988 RX-7 Convertible ... we have two kids now, and it just doesn't get driven much. Its got an original 41k miles on it and is in about as good a condition you could possibly ask for. Everything works fine on it, and it has a few little additions that help it feel a bit more modern. The problem is, I can't even guess how much its worth. Its clearly a unique car ... so going by the KBB just doesn't make much sense. I am just looking for some recommendations here. What do you guys think its worth?

Put it on ebay with a really high reserve and start the bidding at 1000 bucks. see how high it goes.

These cars unfortunately arent considered "collectible" or "classics". people on youtube or kids following those youtubers would rather swap parts and drift it into a wall. i wont ever sell my rx7 because of this.

but if i had to put a number on it, id say 6k on the low side to 8k on the high side.

More than that probably. I don't know the market in the US but verts up here in Ontario go for in mint condition 8k+ and they are actually selling. Lowest I have ever seen a vert was mine for 650 bucks because the old owner said he wanted it to go to a enthusiast. Best 650 I spent on a 89 vert from the original owner. Still running to this day and like you said I will never sell her, I rather her rust to the ground than sell her for some drifter.
