4 Attachment(s)
hello guys i removed the clutch from an 1990 n/a vert pictured on the right and looks a bit different from my other rx7 clutch off from a 1991 n/a coupe pictured on the left
is there a difference between them both, they are both in good shape, Attachment 627605 back of clutch, left 91 coupa n/a and on the right still the 1990 n/a vert Attachment 627606 each pressure plate has a part number i believe Attachment 627607 Attachment 627608 i just want to know if one is better than the other, and ill install the better one in the car |
Yes, they are the same
|
does it matter which pressure plate i decide to use, the 91 n/a pressure plate is much lighter than the convertible one
|
No is doesnt matter I'd just use the one that has a stiffer feel to it IMO.the one with the shorter fingers would be my first choice.

Use a caliper to measure the thickness from the top of the friction surface to the top of one of the rivets which secure the friction material to the metal backing. I'd use the disc with the most life left in it.
