help! i need advice on the damn flywheel removal
 

well my brothers in cali are tryin to take my fly wheel nut off my old engine and they cant bust the torque cause the fly wheel keeps turnin i know theres a tool that can stop the flywheel. does any one know how i can stop break the torque on that nut. or am i going to have to buy that tool. if so where can i find that tool. i know this is a newbie question but i cant find any help. so PLEASE can any one help?

rent the mazda tool and flywheel blocker from mazda. They rent it to me all the time.

Or, get a big 54mm but with an impact gun.

Some will tell you to jam a screw driver in the exhaust port. Really, REALLY bad idea.

You can use a long piece of bar stock or steel tubing bolted through where your pressure plate mounts. It will press against the floor in the direction you are trying to turn the nut. An easier way is to use a 3/4" impact gun with enough torque to spin the fucker off. GL
