where is the fuel sock located and how can i clean it if it is clogged

im having that really annoying turning problem and my engine looses power. so where is the fuel sock and how will i be able to clean it properly

in the Fuel tank..it can be accessed by lifting the Carpet in the rear above the Tank and removing the Screws on top of the Fuel Tank..(if you are to replace it ,for safety..disconnect the battery)

If you know that you have one, I'm surprised that you don't know it's on the fuel pump inlet...

To clean it you just need to remove the pump, detach the sock from the pump, clean it with water and then let it completely dry before reinstalling it.

The only way this would cause engine running problems is if it was really clogged. That could only be from something being put into the tank or a tank that's badly rusted internally.

see if your local mazda deler has 1, not sure how much.
