Help With Exhaust

Hey guys so I bought a buddy club spec 2 for my 1988 N/A and the fitment was way off. The cat back doesn't reach catalytic convertor. Since there is almost no information on the spec 2's for fc's I called and buddy club said that they only fit turbo 2's which the description did not say. Anyway he said that they can be custom fit to n/a's. I looked up the difference between the N/A and Turbo 2 cat backs and it looks like the Turbo 2 might have a longer cat so the end of the y pipe is shorter. So to make up the extra space I should just be able to weld in a connector pipe between my N/A cat and the Buddy club cat-back. Now my question is the buddy club has a hanger on the tailpipe which fits fine but it also has one shortly after to support the rear half of the exhaust but there is no hanger on my rx-7 anywhere near it. It is right under that lower suspension arm. Did the turbo 2 have a hanger there? Considering the bodies are the same I can't see them placing a hanger right there but maybe they did? Any help or suggestions on how I can attach the second hanger would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

As far as I know the only difference beteen the factory Y-pipes s the TII is a larger diameter. Lengths are the same. My n/a has hangers just forward of the diff I believe. I think they may come off the subframe but I would have to go look to be sure. Hanger locations are the same for both either way.

the cats, y pipes and catbacks all interchange between NA and T2.

What size od is that exhaust ? I'm running old school racing beat 2.5" power pulse on my turbo car , id like 3" tho

It is a 3". I know it's too big for an NA, but i really like the look of it. I kind of thought they were all interchangeable so maybe it was just the wrong piping. It is a single exit but still I can;t see that making a difference. Ok thanks guys.

I called buddy club and they sent me a picture of another of a new exhaust in there shop and it is the same as mine and the only other thing the gentlemen said was that they are made for the Japanese cars so there's a possibility that they are different. I cant imagine it but does anyone happen to know if the Japanese fc's maybe had a different catback?
