either way you have to change your ecu. If you did a S4 TII swap you must get a S4 TII ECU N333 or N332. If you did a S5 TII swap you must get a S5 TII ecu, cant remember the #.

No i mean the CPU not ECU.. the cpu is located on the left side under the driver.... my car was a s5 na and i put a s5 t2 in it

The CPU is the body computer. You use the CPU based on what interior harness is in the car.

S4 interior harness= FB01 or FB05 CPU
S5 interior harness- FC01 or FC66 CPU

And your bump has been deleted. Bumps are forbidden here in the 2nd gen RX-7 technical section

No you don't have to change the CPU. it controls the horn and other stuff that you would think could just be run by just a switch. it still controls all that stuff just fine when the new emissions harness is in place.

The ECU controls the engine. It is located under the passengers foot rest/fire wall.

The CPU is the body computer that controls things like Horn, and warnings, and brake lights and turn signals. It is located in the drivers kick panel.

but i thought that the cpu is part of the engine management.....
i mean my engine wont start.....it got spark and gas but yet it wont start and its definately burnin the gas.... its like the engine is confuse

RB_eater 06-03-07 12:52 AM

Do you mean you smell gas? That doesn't mean you're burning it.

fc3sdrifterz 06-03-07 08:42 AM
