you'll need to trace the wires back to find out what is powering up or grounding the relay to activate it. is the battery relocated or just out of the car?

Out of the car for now

plenty of aftermarket fan wiring diagrams in this thread to use in wiring up yours

Your fan cools your car efficiently? Looks a bit too small IMO. I use a taurus 2 speed fan with the low speed always on, and the high speed controlled by a thermoswitch. I can't recall what the wiring diagram is exactly, but 4 or 5 pin relays are fairly simple to wire up. One to 12v power, ground, 12v switched to activate the relay, and the one providing power to the fan.

That fan looks a bit to small to be efficient in my opinion. I have the above mentioned Taurus 2 speed fan I'll sell for cheap with a 30A relay and a 30A Bussman auto circuit breaker. I can include a wiring diagram as well. PM me if you're interested.

Put the stock fan and shroud back on. That fan wouldn't keep my dog cool. Stock fan designed by short guy with big brain.

Bought the car with this fan. I havent drive it much because it had a bad diff but now thats fixed.

i like the 2 bolts holding the water pump pulley on as well... weight reduction.

Yeah, that's not a factory fan. Or even an acceptably sized fan.
Here is a link to how I wired up the dual fans from an MR2 for $20: http://workingtofu.blogspot.com/2008...on-for-20.html You can get fans from tons of different cars that will work better. You'll need a temperature control switch for the fan once you get it (if you decide to stick with an E-fan) http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...ric+Fan+Switch |
